Painting Selection GUI Mod for Minecraft 1.4.7
A great way to decorate your house in minecraft is with paintings. Man people may know how much of a pain it is to get the right size painting you want. Why? Because for some reason when Notch added paintings to minecraft, he made it completely random on what one you get when you put it down. That means we have to keep putting it down, breaking it and putting it down again just to get the right painting we want. It’s so much of a hassle, one of our modders: Davidee made the GUI Painting Selection mod so you can CHOOSE what painting you want when you put it down.
The GUI Painting Selection mod adds a whole new menu, or GUI to select a painting. It gives you a nicely laid out list of all the paintings available with a picture of each one. You can use your arrow keys, or your mouse to pick one. The mod even works with other mods that add more paintings to the game.
Well, that’s brilliant! I think we all should be very thankful of Davidee for bringing us such a useful mod. It’s something Mojang should’ve added to the game ever since they added paintings. I mean; it does seem a bit silly to have to repeatedly put a painting down just to get the one you want. So, thank you Davidee! GUI Painting Selection is a brilliant and very useful mod that I’m sure everyone will love.
